      • Dude, the 90s was the era of RB dominance in the NFL......at least try to act like you know something about football.

The last time a RB was a Super Bowl MVP was Terrell Davis in Super Bowl XXXII (that was 21 Super Bowls ago).

There's been 7 RB name Super Bowl MVP (actually 6 and one FB) in the history of the NFL, 3 of them were in the 90s.

        • Enough of the bullshit in the NON FOOTBALL thread.

Here is a little something to change direction

Caroline added a little mandolin to this one. Check it out

                  • Well - Max is off to college tomorrow - double major in film production and music. I guess he'll either be filthy rich or dirt poor. He's moving 4 hours away, so not too bad. Still, kinda hard to process. Anyways, thought I'd leave you guys with a song he wrote, recorded, and submitted for a music scholarship (he got it). Skip to 35s to go past all the intro and get right to the song.

Here's another one if you are interested. He worked really hard on this Protest the Hero cover video (the guitar part is insane) but could never upload to youtube because of copyright strikes. So I put up on dropbox to share. Hope this works.

Oh and Deb - something that will make your day - the other day Max told me he'd been listening to a lot of Rage Against the Machine and was loving the Tom Morello riffage!

                            • One of my favorite places on earth is Sequoia National Park. We woke up this morning wondering what to do to get away from the heat at home. The kid stayed home with the dog, the wife and I hit the road by 9a. We rolled into the SNP around 1215p, went to our favorite campground (Lodgepole), snuck by the over burdened ranger check in house, found ourselves a river side site that was furthest from check in and had a picnic lunch. We've done this before and ALL of it was awesome, again. Put almost 400 miles on the car today.

After cruising around the vast NP, we headed home around 430p, using the complete opposite end exit from where we entered.

We decided to hit a local Native American casino that was sort of on the way home. We took in $440 and came home with over $1,700.

I was en fuego on the slots today. The first game I played after putting in $100, hit a bonus spin after only about 5 or so spins. That particular winning spin was for $4. It hit for a $618 major bonus.

My wife couldn't win to save her life which was unlike our last run a month ago in which she saved the day by winning all of our modest bank roll back using her last $150.

After a celebratory drink??????, I played a 3 reel machine that was sitting on the outside edge of a double sided bank of 6 of the same kind slots. Betting $9 a spin, within maybe 4 spins, it hit a minor bonus for $304. I cashed it out, sat on the opposite side corner machine and again within a few $9 spins, it hit the minor jackpot again for $304. Unreal! I slid over one seat to my right, putting me in the middle of 3 seats with my wife giving away her money as fast as she could next to me on the 3rd and other outside machine. I put one of my $300+ tix in the middle machine, betting $9 a pull again, and mo fo if that thing didn't hit the minor jackpot again for $304 in short order.

My wife had used up her alloted funds, so I gave her one of my $330+ winning tickets. I cashed out and moved back to the original side of the bank of slots, sat at the middle machine and that SOB also hit the minor jackpot within the 7th pull at $9 for another $304.

I have NEVER been on a heater like that in my life. I hit a "jackpot" on 4 of 6 machines in one bank in a matter of 30 minutes to go with the only other machine I played before these slots that paid $618. It was bleepin cah-ray-zee.

I grabbed my wife, who was already down to $60 on my gifted $300+ ticket and we bailed asap.

They weren't getting over $1.3k profit back, no way, no how.

                              Thank you Tachi peeps!
