WoW, at least the senile old man gave Marinelli the heave ho when he went 0-16.

"I don't think anyone else could've done this job for the past two years," Jackson said, according to*Cabot. He*added: "I don't think we're as far away as many people think we are."
      Dang!

The 2008 Lions played a handful of teams close too. Hell, they lost to the NFC North champions by a grand total of 6 points, and were leading what would be the 12-4 Panthers until midway through the 4th quarter.

Who would win a battle of the winless really would simply come down to who happened to have a good-ish week.

Yeah, pretty much all of those players the Steelers sat are better than any Lion at the respective position
The Detroit Lions... where eleven men on the field is merely a suggestion.

Holy fuck you're saying the Brownies are twice as bad as he who shall not be named.

I think Cleveland's owner is mostly to blame. I don't know who I dislike more Haslam, Irsay, or Ford(s).

I didn't think this was possible (4-0 then 0-16) when the Lions did it. Parallel universe that both did

Their head coach will be the Lions next head coach. Then the Lions can have 2 perfect seasons.

They didn't fire their head coach.

                            Quote of the day

Cleveland Browns GM, when asked why he is sticking with 1-31 record HC Hugh Jackson for next year-- " I believe he has not lost his magic."

I guess hiring a bunch of sabermetric baseball guys to run your football team doesn't translate into wins.
