If selling a product/service "accrues common law trademark protection", is that similar to copyright? If I am providing a unique document, such as a magazine article, and the document contains the phrase "Copyright 2018 Ghengis Jon", it's covered, no? Is that type of broad granting of copyright similar to trademark protection? If WalMart starts selling a Donald Trump shaped butt plug called "The Kapture", is that marketing name protected by trademark law without going through some registration process? Or is it granted for the time up from 1st use until registration occurs (similar to 'patent pending')?

              • Kap, get back with you ....?

I don't think so. You and I have some common ground on the Trump administration's national and international policies that matter. But we do not share common ground on DJT's character, intelligence or the way he comports himself as the President of the United States. You see what you see and I see what I see. Different views between you and me regarding the President's conduct with his international peers, his belief system and how that affects his decision making where US interests internationally are concerned do not make for useful discourse.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. JH chased Saban from Alabama and caused Day, at the point of the OSU AD's gun, to make major changes to his staff just to beat Michigan. Love it. It's Moore!!!! time

                      • Remember when George Schultz said Reagan was undisciplined, didn't read, didn't pay attention in briefings, and frequently told his underlings to break the law? And Reagan responded by calling Schultz "dumb as a rock" and "lazy as hell"?

It didn't happen because that was back when grown-ups ran the government.

This is where the simple minded people get butthurt by optics . Grown ups have always ran the government or was space aliens running it during Vietnam?

Amazing how so many horrible, awful people keep managing to sneak past Trump's famously flawless judgment and instincts.
