  • Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
    Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

    • It's pronounced Core-NELL and it's about 300 SAT points above the Wright State of the Olentangy, insufferable toad.

Have I mentioned it's the 150th anniversary of the founding of America's greatest institution?

AH! Fair Cornell! Glorious to view! Not for those who wish (in vain) for an additional entry to the Cannonball Run or Police Academy cinematic universes

      • The buildings of Kornelle are all squares and rectangles made of stucco, asbestos, and despair. Popcorn ceilings are considered the height of decor. Every fall Lake Cayuga (Cayuga is Algonquin for "sewer smell") is set ablaze and the students gather and sing Nickleback songs set to Shostakovich sheet music in the lake's amber glow.

A more wretched hive of scum and villainy you will not find.

            • First time in a while I've genuinely LOL'd at something here, you slivovitz-chugging curator of the Tim Conway Museum. How many times have you edited the Dorf Goes Fishing article on Wikipedia, you deranged son of a bitch?

              • Kornelle is the Ivy version of ITT Tech. It was founded by Ezra Kornelle, a noted paint chip eater and defender of child sweatshops and buggery. It is only around so that Bucknellians have someone to look down on and the other schools can have ample people to staff the area Denny's with. And those are its finest attributes.

In upstate New York it would probably be Friendly's. You are otherwise correct. It is somewhat different than Tuscaloosa, where Huddle House is considered a high-end wedding hall. But ours is not to judge, but to study the far, far different levels of intellectual development, sophistication, and basic grooming skills. You benighted cro-magnon twit.

                    • Any reference to Tim Conway and Dorf is a winner and much needed ray of sunshine to those of us banished to the hinterlands of The Shadow. Thank you, DSL. You deserved better than a Bucknell degree.

                      Worst. Season. Ever.

                      • How about we pit AA vs. Talent in The Shameless Sandbaggery Bowl?

AA opens a 3 point favorite.

                        • No way. AlabamAlum's sandbaggery is beyond reproach. He is the Ghenghis fucking Khan of sandbaggery except his victories are bigger blow outs. If he were alive in the 1860s he would convinced us all of how Grant had no chance at Appomattox. If we were alive in the 1920s he'd have convinced all his friends that the Yankees would be lucky to win 60 in 1927. If he were alive in the 1970s he'd have convinced us all that Nixon was throwing a desperate hail mary against McGovern. If he were alive today he'd convince us all that Nebraska is an unstoppable machine of hellfire and anger that will destroy The Nick.

He's the sandbagger's sandbagger. Platinum-style. A true joy to watch. Like watching The Godfather or any Ned Beatty film, but way better.

                            Talent opens as -7

Over/Under on Wiz's vomit amount opens at 2.5 gallons.

                            • I have seen it all. Talent just sandbagged about being a sandbagger. There has to be an award for that shit. Well done.

                              • Listen AA...you are no slouch in the sandbaggery department...however Talent did just raise the bar significantly. You have some work to do my fiend. Right now as odd as it sounds...Talent is the equivalent of The Nick whilst you are lowly Urbs.

                                Sad really
