  • Another one in the "sky is falling" category, .. another one has de-committed.

Stone Mountain (GA) 2018 three-star offensive lineman Jalil Irvin became the third prospect within the last 24 hours to decommit from Michigan, as he reopened his recruitment on Tuesday morning.

Irvin, whose only other offers are from Illinois and Tulane, has never visited Ann Arbor and pledged to the staff sight unseen after a satellite camp in Atlanta in June.

    • Good -- make room for Ruiz, Wilson, and Slaton (hopefully).

      • Just a gut feeling ...... something is going on inside the fort. When stuff like this happens in waves, it's not coincidental or by happenstance. There's a reason for it.

I'm not going to plow through all the BS posts at mgoblog or renew my membership at Rivals but sometimes there are a couple of posters there who are connected and might know the inside story. If someone has the time/energy to have a look or already have looked, post a link or a summary of the post.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. JH chased Saban from Alabama and caused Day, at the point of the OSU AD's gun, to make major changes to his staff just to beat Michigan. Love it. It's Moore!!!! time

        • Well, they really wanted to keep Solomon.

The other two are 2018 kids, one of whom committed sight unseen.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
          Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

          • Yeah, Solomon is the only one that hurts, but that wasn't that unexpected.

Probably Urban Meyer, Kirby Smart, moms, influential uncles, and SEC money.

I'll do an optimistic but realistic one...stand by.

Ruiz is on the list and, heh, so is Tate Martell on in place of Ruiz. I'm certain Martell is unrealistic for M :-)

I don't see Darnay Holmes coming, but I suppose it meets the "reasonable" threshold.

                              • Let's not forget football season starts in 11 days. Let's see how we fair on the recruiting trail come late January.

The BGRC Oracle came up with is solid and I can almost guarantee we get a surprise commit or two.
