If M were swapped with Kansas then I'd say almost zero chance. No way they beat Nova AND Kansas. Hell, they probably would have lost to Duke in the S16 (definitely would have beat Syracuse, though -- well -- maybe -- Houston and all). The fact that the Committee put Sparty in Detroit and not M got them to the FF. EFZ. If NC State can beat Houston in 1983...Nova over Georgetown in 1985...this would not be near as shocking.
