It's funny that you talk about "current shit" and then the very next words you write have to do with the past.

    Good job.

Craft is an abomination on offense as a rule. He's not really a two-way player.

Still, LMAO @ the "Preseason Poll" gambit. Very few folks would actually try to argue that playing at Cameron against the #2 team in the country is easier than hosting NCS. Pure Michigan.

            Uh huh.

It wasn't a debate about that, talent, it was an assessment of the teams. We shall see how those two do head to head. The ACC coaches seemed to think NC State would hold their own against doook and not be a "C team".

That is yet to be seen.

Maybe doook was just going up against a B1G C-list team whereas NC State had to deal with an A-lister?

Perhaps. Duke has also played Minnesota, UK and Louisville. Their game against OSU was about as close the game against Louisville. I don't put a lot of stock in preseason polls, but I do think Louisville will be good. I also think Duke, sadly, is going to be tough. They're improved from last year, IMO.

But, anyway, knock the loss all you want. That's the great thing about hoops -- everyone loses. It's not the end of the world. Hopefully OSU can get a win against Kansas in a couple weeks.

Beating Kansas at home is a more important game than beating Duke @ Cameron.

And to reiterate, Duke has beaten OSU, Louisville, Kentucky, and Minnesota. NC State has beaten who? UMass and Penn State? And they also got destroyed at home by Oklahoma State?

You guys argue that you can't tell how good teams are at this point but then give credit for doook beating teams that we don't know how good or bad they are.

                      Okay.....

Maybe OSU is better than expected? Maybe beating NC State proved that? USA Today now has OSU ranked #17.

Maybe Kentucky is struggling with 5 new starters?

Maybe doook only beating Louisville when Louisville didn't have their starting center isn't that impressive?

I think the odds are slightly better than even that Duke has more impressive wins than NC State has this year. And will have this year.

We shall see. Plumlee has played better than expected but NC State has a pretty solid squad. It looked like Leslie may be getting out of his mini-slump.
