It's an unimportant stat...but it means that the AL has gotten home field advantage almost every year since 2000 when I think it used to alternate every other year.

That said the hitting just hasn't been there for most of this series. Game 5 was completely winnable

On the one hand, when Cubs fans are willing to sell their children into slavery in exchange for tickets, I can't blame Tribe fans who probably paid $100-150 face value for the seats for selling. On the other, yeah, it's embarrassing.

I've heard that of tickets that were on StubHub, 80% were sold to people out of state

In ain't like the 90's any more when the Indians were a hot ticket and wildly popular. For reasons that I cannot understand, the Browns are STILL the most popular franchise in town, and people are willing to dump thousands of dollars down that money pit, despite the team being proven to not give a fuck AT ALL.

The NFL took a dump on Cleveland then gave them a laughingstock of a mismanaged franchise that cares and knows nothing about fielding a decent product and yet the people keep going back year after year.

The Indians organization truly does a great job in spite of poor fan support and cash flow. If the Cavs were terrible right now, maybe the Tribe would be get closer to the support it deserves. But I'm hopeful that the people are finally waking up to the fraud that the Browns really are.

The Indians were without their 2nd and 3rd best starters for the entire playoffs.

Bauer, who wouldn't have even started a postseason game if Carrasco and Salazar hadn't broken bones in Sept, was going up against the Cubs' ace in Game 5 and we nearly won. Tomlin & Kluber both went on short rest. Not much else Francona could've done but it was a great effort agaisnt a team that frankly is loaded with hitters.

Just as a side note, Joe Buck has really been giving free and frequent blowjobs to all Cubs players this entire series.
