    • Add Quentin Gooden to the offer list

That's 3 PG's offered. I'm hoping Thornton Jr. sees that he may have to jump early if he wants to come to A2. The other two guys both look pretty good but Thornton looks like a difference-maker.

      • Cassius is a Spartan supposedly so I'd expect if M has a chance, it would take quite a bit of time to change his mind... Gooden is a new name to me and like Winston, probably would take a good bit of work to get him away from Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville... Thornton is the only one (of the PG's) with a chance to jump at the offer...

Teske C is a Ohio vs M battle most likely, probably favoring M at this point...

Seth Towns SF got an early offer but nobody can question this staffs ability to spot talent. I've seen a good bit of his highlights, really like his game just mildly surprised M offered early. I think he's a good bet to take M up on their offer the next time he visits.

        • Way too early recruiting board for '16 as:

          *PG: Thornton
          *SG: Battle
          *SF: Towns
          *PF: Leaf
          *C: Teske

          • Are all these offers completely committable, or are they formal things that aren't to be acted on? Cause all indications have been pointing to Towns ready to commit ASAP.

            • I would guess that OSU isn't pushing hard for Teske. I say that given OSU's lack of available scholarships for 2016, it's frontcourt roster depth and where they stand with Funderburk. Even if they were pushing super hard, M still may be the team to beat -- dunno.

2016 is a really unfortunate confluence of a lack of scholarships and deep class in Ohio, especially at the 4.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
              Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

              • Good for us, I suppose. Per the write-up on mgoblog we look to be in good shape with some pretty talented guys at positions of need.

                • Supposedly we're making a push with Prince Ali and trying to get him on campus for a visit. He'll get an offer if he does and would immediately move to the top of my wish list with Jalen Coleman. Flip a coin.

                  • Just decommitted from UConn a week or two ago. Should know a lot more when he sets up his next set of visits.

                    • MSU #23 on this list, Michigan not on it. ???. I know we got raped by the NCAA but we're still gonna rape Sparty next year. Depending on the schedule we'll do it Twice.

                      • There is a lot of potential variance in next seasons team... I like but don't love the backcourt of Walton & LeVert. After them is Irvin, Donnal and a bunch of true freshman that need to help immediately...

It's not a clear top 20 team. It's a team that could potentially miss the tourney if LeVert struggles being the go to guy or it could be a team back to where it was last season in the Elite Eight if the true freshman and the sophomores mostly live up to their recruiting hype.

                        • If you don't love the backcourt, you don't like the team. It's the best part.

If all of Nebraska, OSU and MSU finish above us in the BT, I'll be shocked.

                          • B10 to me appears mediocre next season. M could be #2 in the B10 and be outside the top 20..

That said, if the B10 is as mediocre as I think, M could have an artificially good win, loss record and undeservingly be ranked higher than they should.

                            • Whatever happens, Beilein is only one of several coaches in the conference that is going to get the absolute most out of the talent he has.

                              • They finally offer Jamal Murray. He's the one G they've offered who definitely can play off the ball from the PG targets, even though he and others claim he's a PG.
