A little tip to those who have lost parents. Silly as it may seem, I talk to mine every day, every single day. Just a pleasant two minute chat to let them know how everyone is. Somehow, it makes me feel as if they are still with me. My thoughts are with you Kay and Dan. Gonz, I just know your family grit and spirit will win the day! God Bless.Comment

I spent many an hour as a youth watching her movies on channel 9 in the afternoons.

Never cared for shirley the actor. My sister always wanted to watch her shows while there was usually something better on that I wanted to watch. Thanks also. Dad died in 1983 at age 47 (cancer too). Mom died from complications of Alzheimers.
I am happy knowing they are together again. Dad had to wait a long time.
