          • I live about 8 miles from Verne's boyhood home. Following the Austin Powers movies, they used to put his senior pic with a "home of Verne Troyer" sign just outside the village. People kept stealing them so now they just have a sign, no pic.

              • Sad story. I cut him off from my hotel mini bar more than once. Too expensive and I needed his spot at the bar to keep my leftovers cool.

                        • He was once a Lions assistant. After he left for the Rams the Lions wanted him back but iirc he was under contract and the Rams wanted a lot to give him up. "Ground Chuck" RIP. Very good coach.
