  • ......so I was thinking.

The players now are bigger, stronger and faster just like the leap in the NFL.

When Keith Premieu came to the Wings, he was supposed to be the next Superman in the league.

He never got beyond the soup part of the tag.

Where is he and what is he doing? (If anyone knows)
I long for a Lions team that is consistently competitive.

Yep. The Wings should've drafted Jagr. We had Yzerman and Fedorov, we didn't need another 1st round center. We did need wingers.

Can you imagine if we had drafted Jagr?

                Thanks, Frank.

I suspect he is more successful in the Deli franchise than he will be a paid advisor in hockey.

He came through a time when helmet choice was optional and they absolutely refused to wear any type of protection on their face. The players have learned protective equipment can extend their career.

This sport is way behind all the other when it comes to protecting the players and even worse, the players do not want to wear protective equipment to protect them.

Nope. I can't imagine that at all. Fedorov left because he wanted to be "the man" on the team. If they drafted Jagr.......he would have left under more contentious issues.

Federovs best numbers came with playing with the Wings. When he left, he was not longer the player he was.

Jagr as a young player would have had problems with ice time.

Jagr would've probably played on Fedorov's line. Primeau was a center, the same position as Fedorov. There wouldn't have been an ice-time issue with Jagr because they played different positions.

MUCH better showing through 40 minutes of Game 2.

                            • It's not just score.

In Game 1, Chicago pretty much played keep away. They controlled the action from whistle to whistle, dominated the play from start to finish.

So far, it's been much more even in time of possession and pushing the action.

Now, the question is however, will they keep this up in the 3rd, which has been their heel all season long.
