this team has regressed in every element since game one

Injuries, Bad Play, Bad Coaching, Lack of development of young players.

This looks, acts and plays like a fucking Millen production.

I'm glad I can't watch this turd burger today.

Disgust is the only word I can describe for today's game.

still a very entertaining game to watch

frustrating for sure but still enjoyable.

The Lions except Stafford are pretty much in the hot tub kicking off the bye week early with massive injuries and the defense came to life after Quin went out.

Fuck it the Lions suck but I have to say when the chips were down they kept fighting and the backups to the backups did alright.

Hopefully Greg Robinson has seen his last start at LT.

Pretty much puke but what the heck it was a fun watch.

Lions WRs suck. Man to man coverage is a kill shot to this team.

I think I would rather get in a hottub with Harvey Weinstein and Martha Ford than attend another Lions home game......

At least the score wasn't 52-10. We need better RB's period. Fuck Ameer and Riddick. I'm sick of them. Always down at first contact or after they catch the ball.

Good: The team kept fighting until it was obviously over. Tate looked good before his injury. Jones Jr. had one of the best catches I have ever seen from a Lions player. My AAL A'Shawn made a play that I will remember for the rest of his career. And speaking of great plays, as bad as Ebron was last week (and he didn't exactly do a heck of a lot this week either) he did make a huge, heads-up play on a batted ball back early in the game. The team realized Greg Robinson isn't even good enough to be a temporary band aide for the line. Stafford showed again why he is one of the toughest players on the field.

Neutral: Both Davis and Agnew showed both the good and bad of having talented rookies play pivotal roles on a team. The talent is going to win out and they should be key players on this team for years to come, but they are going to make rookie mistakes from time to time this year. Again, just have to take the bad with the good.

Bad: Injuries. Receivers dropping passes. The coaching staff is disappointing and I don't trust Caldwell or either coordinator going forward. Defense didn't start containing the edges until late in the game. (Not sure if that was a coaching issue or player issue, but it was an issue.)

Ugly: The offensive line was absolutely terrible. Way too many battled balls and once again not able to open up any holes for the running game. I have no idea if Abdullah is any good because the team can't run block. The Lions produced almost no pass rush.

I have to agree. Yes, the line isn't opening holes on a consistent basis (and that is a huge problem), but neither back can fight off tackles worth anything.

I like Abdullah, but he would be perfect for a change-of-pace receiving back that could also occasionally run out of the shotgun just to keep the defense honest. I would love to see the Lions get a RB like Nick Chubb (full disclosure: I'm a Georgia fan) next year in the draft. You aren't bringing him down on the first (or even second) hit.

Riddick should just make the permanent move to receiver. Otherwise, he is unimpressive in my opinion.

This team is awful and needed the bye in the worst way.

Everything is trash. Someone tell Stafford he's allowed to play more than 10 minutes a game.

Agnew seems cool though. Nice to have a special teams threat. Too bad our line play is garbage.

Ugly: The rave DWT is hosting tonight with mediocre Mulbach as the guest of honor.

In reverse:

Ugly: Visions of a naked Martha Ford that won't go away.

Bad: The Detroit Lions.

Good: NBT in the gameday thread. Do not know if you are meaning to be funny but laughed my a$$ off throughout. Good stuff.

The only good in that game was that down 35 they were playing arguably the only franchise that rivals Detroit in futility in my lifetime. The original brown baggers.

Good: The fight and the Late Game Defense. Agnew's Punt Return for a TD. There is not reason to start Robinson at LT again.

Bad: Stafford was awful today, I would say ugly but since he was injured, pounded and the pass protection really stunk until the backups to the backups went in I can't give him an Ugly. Defense was a hot knife thru butter for over half of the game.

Ziggy Ansah, no where to be seen again and this is his contract year, what back to back performances his is showing. Typical -4 yard runs and the 1 year and a cloud of dust running plays. I do give kudo's to the one run Ameer broke for about 30ish

Ugly: Offensive Play Calling, Agnew's bumble at the goal line. Wagner's play could be worse than Robinson's but Wagner did gut it out.

Stafford threw for 300 yards. Will be the only time this year he does that.

If all they are going to run is 3 yard dump offs, I'll agree.

They can't run the ball, so the only questions are:
1) How many times he gets to throw the ball
2) How much RAC he gets off all the consistent dumpoffs this offense is built around.

I have to painfully admit... datfroggy was right.

Looking back at his posts, he promised us we'd see a forty-burger, but he never said the LIONS would be the ones to do it.

I'm sorry, Froggy. I should never have doubted you.
