  • Finally, of course UFM is beatable. He's a lackluster 3-3 in post-season play at OSU. When he's played really good teams in the B10 CG or Bowl/CFP games, he's had some trouble. Hopefully he's fixed some of his offensive issues with Wilson for Warriner-Beck. Hopefully that works as well as swapping in Ash for Withers. We'll see.

On the plus side, he is 57-3 in regular season games at Ohio State including the stinking pile of fucking shit loss at Penn State last season. So, that's encouraging. Hopefully when he finishes upgrading his roster the post-season record will improve. We'll see.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
    Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

    • Meyer has built a team that we will be lucky to beat more than once a decade and we just missed the best window that we will get for that in a long long time.

Hop on over to the OSU thread. You'll love it!

        • The OSU fans who complained about 8-3 Earl, Cooper's losses to Michigan, and Tressel's occasional losses have pretty much been vindicated.

                    • I've not really studied the '19 rankings since it's so far out, but he'll be a solid 4 star at least. Lotta comparisons to Bush and Anthony as far as build and athleticism.

                      • Initially highly rated but dropped a bit when recruits listed 6'1" were a couple inches taller.

                        • Corey Malone-Hatcher DE calling it a career...

Injury issues most likely, position of strength so this won't effect us much at all in the short or long-term. M recruited a ton of WDE/SDE/3T types in '17 recruiting class.

                            • This year the BBQ is a week earlier, which should make for fewer conflicts, next weekend.

Some people think that McGrone and Rumler will be committing at the BBQ. (mgoblog)

Cameron McGrone – LB – Indianapolis (IN) Lawrence Central: McGrone is a 6’1″, 215 lb. prospect with offers from Michigan and Notre Dame, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #13 outside linebacker, and #197 overall.

Nolan Rumler – OG – Akron (OH) Hoban: Rumler is a 6’4″, 290 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Ohio State, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #18 offensive tackle, and #153 overall. Right now the Crystal Ball is 100% in favor of Michigan.
