Me: (after attending the Lions kick off luncheon) "Wow, the players are pumped up! Maybe there is some hope this season after all. A 10-win season is coming!!"

Me: Picks the Lions to win today's game (and 9 other games through the season).

Also Me: (after husband takes his college football winnings and places them on the Lions today) "You idiot! Have you learned nothing?!?!"

Sigh. I want to believe...but it doesn't seem to be taking hold.

            So excited.

            Lions 30
            Cardinals 17.

Kerryon 100+ yards. Lions DLine disrupts the Kingsbury air raid with Kyler QB options offense.
Not a chance a Kliff Kingsbury team plays defense.

I've seen you go to this well at least 2x now. What he did at the NCAA with his D staff and recruiting does not apply in the NFL where a D coaching staff and players pretty much function as their own team.

Another season is upon us. Once again, I have a lot of hope with very little to base it on. Like my T-shirt says, "Lose, Draft, Hope, Repeat".

I wish D Hand was playing today but at least Ragnow is a go. I have a lot of faith in the defense, I’m not sure what to expect on offense besides Kerryon being awesome.

                            Is Hand a healthy scratch?

Where did you find the Inactives list for today? Nfl.com doesn't show any (which cannot be true).
