I was fortunate enough to not know anybody who died from it. Some older people went to hospital before the vax came out ... since then the only people I know who've had it bad were unvaxxed. It was obviously a real situation that's undeniable ... just think there were way too many political motivations that came with it.

Example. One of my friends is unvaxxed and he went on a trip last July. He had to quarantine for 14 days after getting back despite negative test. However, people who had medical exemption and couldn't take the vaccine ... didn't have to quarantine. This sends a bad message. It says that things were about control rather than health related. Otherwise, why wouldn't the exempt but nevertheless unvaccinated person have to quarantine?

If you got out of that era (and it's not over, just enough people carry enough immunities to slow it down) without losing anyone you should thank the good lord.

For me I’m more of a Nietzsche subscriber (I did have to google the spelling of “Nietzsche”…I always do) than Kierkegaard (also googled for spelling) or any of the Russians or Buddhists). I see things(or try to see things) for how they DO work…not how they could or should work, or how I think they could or should work.

As a symptom of this I tend to see all large power structures (government, media, large corporations, Religious organizations, HOAs) as corrupt, self serving, and power hungry.….and never exactly about what they say they’re about. They’re about themselves and money…that’s it. It’s not deep…it’s not mysterious: power and money.

I also think that human beings have a limited capacity to “do better”….I have very limited faith in humanity whatsoever. People do what they do to make themselves feel better…it’s not about ending homelessness, or racism, or stopping global warming. It’s about reciprocal altruism and feeling superior to the person standing next to you….I hold a certain opinion so I have star on my belly.

Covid really sucks… or at least I believe that’s what I had. Lucky enough to go 3+ years without it, but it finally hit.

Extreme tiredness and fatigue for a few days. Couldn’t get up after lying down. Mixed in with minor headaches and congestion. Stuffy throat/ nose.

Totally sucked.

I had Covid in January. I've had chest colds that were worse.
