The Pistons have reportedly agreed to trade with the Pelicans to help them get under the luxury tax if no other trades for the Pelicans happen by the deadline. That would probably be minor I would think. Allegedly Langdon wants a 1st round pick to help facilitate any trade which might be a steep price.
The big fish left are Butler, Ingram and I guess Vucevic. If Butler does get traded, Detroit is most likely going to be involved

Harrison also probably way overvalues AD. I probably underrate him, but they apparently think they can win a championship with him. If you are going to trade Doncic and get an All NBA guy in return, he is the only guy. But it doesn't excuse not extracting more with at least the second 1st rounder.
It's crazy how pissed the league is at the Mavs.

I didn't realize Nico Harrison was the bonehead who screwed up the Nike contract with Steph Curry. The famous story is in the presentation he called him Seth and he used the wrong presentation. Steph left Nike for UA.
Also, if you ever listen to the Bill Simmons podcast Haralabob is a gambler who's initial claim to fame is he called the Pistons killing the Lakers in the 2004 finals. He later went to work for the Mavericks doing analytics. There is a nugget about the Pistons.

Utah didn't even know it was helping facilitating that trade. They were contacted 30 minutes before the trade was announced and didn't know who the main players changing teams were
Nobody in the Dallas front office other than Nico Harrison was aware of the trade and only a few people in LA were aware of it. No other front office was contacted
