  • Michigan @ Maryland, Saturday, 11/2, noon, ABC/ESPN 3 Video

Well, in my worst BPONE mood, this was after the Iowa game when the offense just sucked and I certainly didn't see M even sniffing 8 wins and more likely had just seen their last season win in a near upset loss to a shitty Illinois team. I saw 6-6 as a distinct possibility.

Based on Saturdays impressive domination of #8 (they didn't deserve it) ND in near monsoon conditions with a crushing run game and efficient passing game bolstered by a shut down defense, I think they'll beat Maryland. At the same time, there's this voice I keep hearing talking about the other shoe dropping. Hopium snuffed out is a recurring them for M football these days. We'll see. More later.
There is such a thing as redemption. Jim Harbaugh is redeemed at the expense of a fading Ryan Day and OSU. M wins back to back games v. OSU first time since 1999-2000 - John Cooper was fired in 2000!!!

Maryland is awful. This is a 30+ point win.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
    Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

      More later.
That's the most accurate prediction I've seen in this forum.

You boys lap up my postings like teenage high schoolers lap up Lady Chatterly's Lover.

Totally engrossed in a sort of salacious way as it applies to that iconic novel that mothers leave obviously around for sex ed that they'd rather not do themselves.

We may see a bit of a hangover from the ND win, and we know our history on the road. But, Maryland is only a tad better than Rutgers, .. and Rutgers would be better off to join the American Conference.

Lots of 'ifs'. IF they play like they did last night, it will be over at halftime. "IF" they play like they did against Army and Wisconsin, the Terps have a chance to pull an upset.

I'm looking at the Kool-Aid. Not drinking it yet.

              Let's not be silly.

Maryland is not good- and there will be more Michigan fans than Terps fans in College Park.

              This one won't be close.

I'm want to believe that Tom, but then again, I know what the Kool Aid tastes like ...

Apparently, they serve beer in College Park. I am looking forward to confirming that next week.

I hate it there. We'll probably go, and the stadium is fine, but totally lame atmosphere outside. Even if you buy a parking pass and can tailgate. It's much better there for basketball.

Jeff severely dates himself with an early 20th Century literature reference.

It's still a classic and yes, if you've never heard of it, you were born after 1990........42 years after me. Either that or you have heard of it and are into esoteric novels.

I think I was somewhere around 10 when I got my hands on it from my grandfather's book collection. Porn at it's best.
