That's the same piece that ran in Golf Magazine, I think. He frequently sues cities for overvaluing property and the taxes he pays (or doesn't pay). I posted a Palm Beach Post story a few weeks ago that has him suing Palm Beach County over the value they assesed on his Jupiter FL golf course. For the purposes of paying taxes, he says it's worth far less than what the government claims. But for his own self-image, when he's considering his net worth, he considered it worth far MORE than what even the County was saying. Wants it both ways.

And obviously, he's a genuinely good player, but cheats too. Because being "good" isn't enough; everything must be "the best" at all times. The best golf carts, the best burgers served at the clubhouse, the best groundskeepers, the best asphalt, yadda yadda. Exactly what I'd expect.

        • Psychologically speaking, Trump and Nixon are the two most bizarre people we've had in the White House since at least the start of the 20th Century (possibly excepting Teddy Roosevelt). They both nursed enormous, decades-old grudges against "The Establishment" but inwardly yearn to join "the Club". But at least Nixon was very well-informed, intelligent, and experienced in world affairs. Trump's none of that.

Not even Fox wants anything to do with this "blockbuster scoop" anymore. So either the Clintons are so powerful as to make even Fox cower, or Fox simply knows the story's ripe bullshit

If you haven't heard yet, Netanyahu is possibly in deep trouble. His former Chief of Staff agreed this week to turn state's witness against his old boss in a mounting bribery/corruption case

              • The best thing about the Trump presidency is the crystal-clear revelation of how corrupt the political system is. The Democrats and the media have lost their minds, and the Republicans have been exposed for not wanting to work on anything that might make Trump look good because he beat them and is not part of their Establishment. When Trump is finally run out of office the message will be sent loud and clear to the 62 million people who voted for him: Your Vote Doesn't Count!
Unfortunately, this is true. The first Dem announced for President in 2020 today. With any luck, there will be half a dozen choices in each party and we won't be left with the terrible choice we faced in 2016.

They will get Trump on some sort of financial issue. With his transactional history, the mere volume of deals he has done, there will be something to go after. That is why Mueller has gone heavily into hiring forensic accountants and lawyers who specialize in financial fraud. There has never been anything in the Russia matter, but that got the Special Council appointed, and once appointed, they always find some wrongdoing in order to justify the money spent on them.

On the other hand, Trump could de-classify many things that might help his case. Or he could, for example, declassify non-Russia things like what was on Rich's computer, if anything. Why doesn't he do that? It has to be that there is nothing there.

I think even you admitted that when the Don Jr emails came out, there was at least reason to be suspicious.

Clearly, they would have worked with the Russian government had the opportunity presented itself. To claim they wouldn't think of such an awful thing is simply choosing to close your eyes and ears. Proving they actually did it has yet to occur.

                  • And I would add that Fox and other right-wing outlets are already laying the groundwork for this argument: is colluding with Russia really all that bad if it means no Clinton?

Laying the ground work? Hell, the Trumpsters are already spouting that.

The same as where the leaks came from didn't matter if they were "true" in regards to Clinton but the leakers must be found and stopped now.

They have bought into the orange monkey lock, stock, and barrel. There is none, and probably will never be any buyer's remorse.

                          • That's up there with: “I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.” & “Why can’t we use nuclear weapons?”

                            • Please let this be true.

At least 14 anonymous sources at Fox or Fox Business confirm that Eric Bolling (Trump slurper #2 at Fox, after Hannity) sent dick pics to female colleagues.

Eric Bolling, a co-host of "The Specialists," said through an attorney that he "does not believe he sent any such communications."
