Don't ask me I haven't had any faith in the Republican Party to follow through on a promise for God knows how long.

Anyhoo, whatever happened to those articles of Impeachment against Mayorkas? You know, the vote that was held over 5 weeks ago? Johnson and the rest of the Party of Honest, Dignified Competence have yet to draft Articles and deliver them to the Senate. It surely isn't happening this week because of the budget stuff and I believe the House goes on another 2 week recess after Friday. So uh, this happening or not, guys? When you're fundraising in commercials, the Border's an urgent crisis. When you're actually in session and in position to do something, you're jerking off into socks. Let's get it on and over with people. Come on, pull it together.

Texas is getting the way of the Open Borders policy. They must be stopped.
Yeah they don't take to losing too well. The USSC was a Constitution shredding machine for decades until Trump put a few decent judges on there. And even now the tiebreakers are milquetoast Federalist Society types and not actual Right Wingers.

The Left meltdowns over the Texas USSC ruling are unsurprisingly entertaining. if the Georgia voting laws were Jim Crow 2.0, then this is Nazi Germany 2.0. Brown-shirted state troopers will be randomly stopping brown people in the streets barking "Show mee your paperrz"! That's it. We've lost our Repubilc.

In any event, under The Chairman's Open Borders Policy, it's clear he wants no one to be able to enforce immigration laws anywhere. It's fundamental Prog policy.

The Texas law re immigration should be pretty clearly Constitutional, IMO. ACB and Kav did not like the administrative stay posture in the 5thC. They want a real ruling.

As to the social media stuff, there were two cases. The first re The Chairman's efforts to control social media platforms re Covid is probably 50/50 -- I tend to think you don't quite have the government involvement you need. The second case re the State of New York's explicit threats to Lloyds to cut off the NRA or else is going to be government action and NY is going to get hammered.

Again, New York is a fucking banana republic. I mean that fully and can defend that fully.

Supreme Court allows Texas to enforce immigration law (nbcnews.com)
Late last night the 5th circuit took the hint from ACB and Kav and put SB4 (Texas Immigration Law) back on hold again. Emergency hearing on it today. Amazing how fast they can move when the Supreme Court subtly lights a fire under their butts.

MAGA gets its wish with Bernie Moreno. But he's also the guy Dems wanted Brown to run against.

It's another expensive harassment lawsuit that he won't win. Undoubtedly paid for with donor money that would go a lot farther given to other candidates.
