      • The Report will provide some embarrassing stuff I'm sure, Trump screaming at Don McGahn to fire the Supreme Court or something, but Trump's popularity is so baked in, nothing will likely change much in the polls. We're almost a month since Barr sent his original summary letter and his approval numbers haven't budged.

          • And it should be noted again that the Mueller investigation was always a more important topic for the political class (of both parties) than most average Americans. On the flip side of that, an investigation into the 'investigators' would probably be the same. "That's nice and all but what about my healthcare? Weren't you going to fix that?"

What Dem presidential candidates have been talking about on the campaign trail is different than what CNN or MSNBC spends the majority of their time discussing. People should never confuse the MSNBC (or FoxNews) viewership as "the electorate". And we all fall in that trap from time to time.

              • The full report should be released to Congress, even if the public does not get to see it.

The fact is that a major investigation centered on the President. Now we have the President review the report for days, have his hand picked lapdog redact it, and announce at a spin conference that NO ONE will get to see the unredacted version. Nope, no cover-up going on there.

Imagine if Obama had been investigated for collusion and obstruction of justice and had Holder redact the final report with his input. Then release the report with the incriminating evidence removed and announce no one will see the unredacted version. The GOP would have gone on a bullet fueled rampage.

This investigation involved the fricking President. The AG under Nixon requested the federal bench for permission to release the unredacted Nixon report to Congress BECAUSE IT INVOLVED THE PRESIDENT AND BECAUSE IT WAS THE RIGHT THING TO DO.

If there's nothing there, show the American public. This corrupt administration has done and shown absolutely nothing to be trusted to tell the truth.

yep agree with the "investigating the investigators

until when and if any big names start showing up beyond brannan and clapper ie lynch biden Obama. at least it mayprevent future weaponizing of intelligence services

nothing but a hatchet job by the prior administration. barr knows it Mueller figured it out and the fact they are stressing trumps innocence on all charges is something that has to be done. you cant leave any wiggle room with the antitrumpers as we know if they cant find it in the facts they make it up as they go.

Devin Nunes' crew leaked tons of stuff themselves, particularly anything that would make the FBI leadership look bad.

                            • On June 19, 2017, Trump met with Corey Lewandowksi at the WH. He instructed Lewandowski to take a message to Jeff Sessions. Sessions, didn't have to un-recuse, but Trump wanted him to publicly announce that the investigation was "very unfair" to President Trump and that Sessions was limiting the Mueller Investigation to ONLY meddling in future elections.

Lewandowski said yup yup, I'll let Jeff know. But he was apparently just telling Trump what he wanted to hear and pawned off the task to WH staffer Rick Dearborn. Dearborn was so uncomfortable deliving this 'message" that he just ignored the request and Trump eventually forgot all about it. Or got even more mad at Sessions for 'ignoring' him. LMAO

Did we know this already? This had to come from Lewandowski/Dearborn.
