    • If you believe that inflation isn't seriously happening, then you believe in fairy tales. Wages are skyrocketing and it's getting passed along as higher prices on everything that you buy. You can only dump so much paper into the stock market.

      • Anyhow, enough of that bad news and onto some good news. Violent attacks against white people are on the rise.

Such as this amazon driver who viciously beat a 67 year old woman. As she beat her, she berated her about her "white privilege".

The anti-white propaganda is bearing fruit!

Froot, DSL, and CGVT will be happy to see this.

            • Inflation for the first half of this year is about 9%, give or take, on an annualized basis. It's pretty bad. The stock market is outpacing it this year, but just barely,. If you are on a fixed income or you are in the twilight of your career and your company isn't about to give everyone a 9% COLA on their paycheck, then you're eating a nice big turd sandwich this year, and maybe next year and the year after until we stop printing monopoly money.

I remember that there was a large jump late in the Bush administration too.

There is a parallel that has yet to be discussed between this year's inflation and the inflation that occurred back in 2008, and that is the role of renewable fuels. 2007-2008 was the ethanol boom when the entire country went to E10. The scale required to produce ethanol for food versus corn or some other food crop for food is massive. Burning calories in car and truck engines is not without consequences. it creates food shortages.

You are now seeing that effect again, but this time with soybean oil being used to make biodiesel and renewable diesel fuel. Soybean oil has doubled in price in a little over half a year.

In both cases, the burning of plant-based oil instead of fossil-based oil in car engines has put upward pressure on food prices. About 15 years ago, tons of farmland was converted to corn. This year, you will see (or maybe are already seeing it) much of that land converted back to soybeans.

                • Dr. describes whiteness as a “malignant, parasitic-like condition” in a Psychology journal.

                  https://www.washingtontimes.com/news...iteness-a-mal/

“Parasitic Whiteness renders its hosts’ appetites voracious, insatiable, and perverse,” the abstract continues. “These deformed appetites particularly target nonwhite peoples. Once established, these appetites are nearly impossible to eliminate. Effective treatment consists of a combination of psychic and social-historical interventions. Such interventions can reasonably aim only to reshape Whiteness’s infiltrated appetites — to reduce their intensity, redistribute their aims, and occasionally turn those aims toward the work of reparation.

“When remembered and represented, the ravages wreaked by the chronic condition can function either as warning (‘never again’) or as temptation (‘great again’),” it adds. “Memorialization alone, therefore, is no guarantee against regression.”
What do you guys think of academia creating and spreading the idea that "whiteness" is a disease? This must be a good thing, because you can't be racist against white people.

As you contemplate the answer to your question, bear in mind that all of the evolution of the study of Humanities in our society has been directed by people who think like this guy. Much of our modern orthodoxy is rooted in 20th Century junk social science.

                  • An article written simply to trigger white racists and generate buzz on social media. If you had done your homework, you would found the NYPSI was founded as a "club" during the time when pyschoanalysis was beyond fledgling but not mainstream. In the early days the organization was relevant, hosting some forward thinkers in psychoanalysis. The NYPSI today is an organization for shrinks that cannot cut a private practice and one that generates most of its income providing continuing education credits required by the profession. Somehow, the author got his "whiteness" theory published in journal JAPA. Since the author is more author than mental health care provider, its not really surprising he would write something to generate attention in the media. Bigots will swallow it hook line and sinker either pro or con, but the rational majority will reject it as tripe to trigger the mentally stunted. Something for bigots to point to.

Here's the home of that 'esteemed' institution.

                    • So not wanting the medical profession to label your race as a contagious disease makes you a "racist"?

                      Got it. Noted.

Yeah, "somehow". That's a pretty big fucking deal to get this concept published in a peer reviewed health care journal, don't you think? There are some decision gates involved in it. And it's not an outlier. It is one of the foundations for Critical Race Theory, which is catching on at all levels of education across America. It's almost as if your characterization of the phenomenon as "one crank trolling racists like Hannibal" is total horseshit.

But keep your head in the sand if that's where you're comfortable.

                      • I thought the "somehow" was fucking hilarious, too. It's almost as some folks have no clue how "academic" journals work.

That particular article is aggressive in its "anti-racism" but it's within the framework of the concept and the concept of whiteness being proferred by various feted folks on the left including Ibrahim X. Kendi that you can't just dismiss with a photo of building. But, I suspect head in the sand is the way to go on this.

Charles Cooke wrote on a similar story: https://www.nationalreview.com/2021/...ist-who-wasnt/

The WaPo -- that fear-mongering right-wing website, ran a story on it (and, of course, gave her a chance to defend herself -- which she does by, of course, blamiing white folks) The article is paywalled. Nonetheless, here is the link: https://www.washingtonpost.com/educa...-white-people/

Alternatively, you can listen to here entire guest lecture AT YALE: https://bariweiss.substack.com/p/the...m-of-the-white

                        (crib notes are provided).

SOMEHOW she was a guest lecturer at the Yale Child Study Center. SOMEHOW this lecture counted as AMA continuing medical education credit. SOMEHOW this lecture satisfied the licensure requirement in the State of Connecticut. Somehow. All in an effort to troll Hannibal. LOL.

They are masters at their gaslighting and Kafka-esque bullshit. "Oh, so you don't like me lecturing at Yale Medical School about how great it would be to shoot white people in the head? Well, that just proves my point at how racist you are!"

                          • Trump DOJ (Under both Sessions and Barr) got secret subpoenas forcing Apple to hand over data and phone records for over 100 accounts targeting Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell, their families, their staffers, their staffers' families, and at least one kid. Finally revealed just now because the court-imposed gag order on Apple has expired and they notified all the targets.

This was done to find "leakers". Considering no one was ever charged, I'll assume they didn't find much of anything.

Prosecutors in the Trump administration Justice Department subpoenaed Apple for data from the accounts of House Intelligence Committee Democrats – including Chairman Adam Schiff – along with their staff and family members as part of a leak investigation, an Intelligence Committee official and a source familiar with the matter confirmed to CNN.
