A new set of laws to be ignored aren’t really something to get excited about. It will take a paradigm shift in border philosophy to effect change.

Yeah see remember that thing I posted a few days ago? About how Republicans could've had a bunch of tough new border restrictions negotiated over the course of months by Lankford? But then Trump sabotaged it because he doesn't want the problem to go away until he's reelected?

Johnson and the House have changed their minds anywhere from 3 to 5 times over whether they wanted a package deal or every item voted on individually. They've also changed their minds repeatedly whether Biden can fix everything himself with no new legislation or whether new legislation must happen before any more foreign aid goes out.

Fine. Call them Palestinians. The VERY OBVIOUS conclusion is that R's support for Israel dwarfs that of the D's. It is ironclad fact. There is also a faction of the Rs in Congress that wanted any foreign aid tied to securing our southern border. That's why there were "no" votes. It wasn't because they don't side with Israel in their counteroffensive against a terror organization that wishes to wipe them from the face of the earth.

Their support for Israel is "strong". It's just not a high priority like surrendering Ukraine to Putin.
