COVID and George Floyd have just unmasked it. I still hold out some hope that it is the radicals and anarchists that have been behind both the rhetoric, augmented by a inappropriately sympathetic press and without appropriate balance on the right, and violent activities that is driving perceptions right now.

In that regard I want Hannibal to be wrong. Unfortunately in my calculus it is becoming increasingly likely that he is right.
Okay, checking in only a couple times a day at most lately. So what do you think Hanni is right about?

I can't think of a single person or group that thinks that way. Trump's removal in January will simply a eliminate large self destructive factor that is a huge part of our national issues. The hyper partisan environment will keep our problems firmly in place.

Trump voters help the environment by sequestering carbon on their person. These are good people.

I think that a lot of the centrists of the world who will be voting for Joe Biden feel this way. I have heard on more than a few occasions the opinion that Trump has emboldened "white supremacists" and "racists" and this has sparked all of the divisiveness in the country today. They want to go back to the halcyon days of 2012 when nobody got angry about open borders or Drag Queen Story Hour.

In short, Hannibal has long held a view here that progressives having already gain controlled of the nations' class rooms and colleges will ultimately take the organs of governance and gradually but with increasing speed implement a more radical socialist form of government. I, OTH, have held the view that moderate voters will resist. It is becoming clearer that as our schools churn out left leaning and left thinking graduates, moderates will gradually age out and disappear. I believe the evidence is mostly irrefutable that this process is well underway as our cities, governed by progressive D's, have become the inefficient, chaotic places that they are.
There is such a thing as redemption. Jim Harbaugh is redeemed at the expense of a fading Ryan Day and OSU. M wins back to back games v. OSU first time since 1999-2000 - John Cooper was fired in 2000!!!

                            • The majority of people get more conservative as they age and have kids. The generation most up in arms about social change today was dropping acid and throwing Molotov cocktails at Chicago cops in 1968.
