What has Fox been saying that shows they are a "liberal" network now? That Trump lost the election? That just shows they're grounded in reality and won't stoop to telling their viewers sweet & outrageous lies that the poor little Trumper snowflakes want to hear.

You know, simply because they allegedly aren't a conservative network doesn't make them a liberal network. Whatever.

          • Fox News is completely in the McCain/Romney/Dubya Bush camp. Some individuals on there are hard Trumpers, but they are in the minority. If you saw Chris Wallace interview Trump, you saw the true attitude of Fox News' leadership.

I only watch for Greg Gutfeld. The rest can go suck a cabbage.

            • All three of those news organs cater to the diehard Trumpists, until that changes the diehard Trumpists are the animating force of the GOP.

              • Fox News is like the National Review -- they want the views, but in the end they don't want to rock the boat and they don't want to make enemies.

Fox News gave the post-election hearings and testimony very little coverage while live streams on youtube were getting hundreds of thousands of views. That stuff would have been ratings gold. Tucker Carlson completely ignored it. Fox News's ratings have absolutely cratered the past couple of months as people have flocked to RSBN, OANN, and other purely internet-based media.

Linesman is right about Chris Wallace. Fox was out to get Trump from Day 1. Remember Megyn Kelly? They reeled it in a little bit during the actual Trump years but the moment that Biden was declared the winner, they took the mask back off.

Fine. What makes them anti-conservative? Liney can't actually mean that unless he think being conservative means to support Trump no matter what and no matter what lies he spews.

                  • You are talking the Fox News that has Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham and Sean Hannity in their prime time lineup? Good grief just take a notepad and write down all of the different Trumpist bait they have on the chyrons, you do not have to listen at all you can watch it on mute.

Not being conservative doesn't make them anti-conservative. I don't what Liney means when he says FOX isn't the voice of conservative people any more. Perhaps you should ask him.

What I do know is that he did not say that FOX is liberal or anti-conservative.

I never said they were anti-conservative. As Hanni said, Fox wants the conservative viewer. But, they report the 'conservative view' from the Mitt Romney, John McCain and Jeb Bush perspective. Here in middle America, those guys aren't true conservatives. They are RINO's. They want the conservative vote, but when it comes time to confronting the Chuck Schumers and Nancy Pelosi's of the world, they cower in fear and run away.

Fox News is headed for being the next CNN. Its what they've aspired to for a long time.

When Liney and Hanni talk about the need to purge the McCain types, the Romney types, the McConnell types, the Thune types, the DeWine/Portman types, and the Bush types from the Republican Party so that only "true" conservatives remain, does that sound like a party that will have a place for YOU any time soon?

Are we still talking about FOX News? Are we still talking about the shit you QUOTED from Liney and then read in your snark-ass gloss? Is that what we're talking about? This seems like a change in topic.

                              • Lineygoblue and Hannibal are proving my point, but they are the Trumpists. If you are tossing off the people who come from the John McCain, Mitt Romney and Jeb Bushes of the world you cannot win elections consistently enough to legislate anything at all. How Trump won in 2016 is the best case scenario and he is something of a unicorn with 40 years of earned media.
