    Yeah, they all agree that States have no ability to enforce Section 3. And that's so obviously correct it almost needs no explanation. The disagreement is that the majority spells out how the Federal government can deal with Section 3 and the dissenters basically want no of that -- no need to speak on it if it's not needed to resolve the case.

    I really couldn't see how anyone could credibly say it was anything other than an unanimous rebuke of obviously politically motivated court.

    The best thing about the ruling is that the US Congress sets the rules for federal elections. States may hold state elections any way they want.

    The next step is for Congress to pass a law requiring voter ID cards showing citizenship and age for use in federal elections. At least then the massive number of "newcomers" (the newest word for illegal immigrants) won't affect national elections. That would be huge.

    There is no way Republicans will have the stones to do this.

    Unanimous decision in the judgment (Colorado can't remove Trump from the ballot) but the 3 libs + Barrett noting mild objections to the scope of the explanation.
