So, possibly an accurate take ....... the M sideline appeared to go to all kinds of lengths to hide the sign boards that signal in the side-line play call during the Citrus Bowl. They had these banner sort of things that any time the team huddled on offense on the field during a TO or the play was coming in from the sideline got lifted up to protect against seeing them from above. Don't know how you would keep the other sideline from seeing it straight on but still....... I've never seen this before from the M sideline.

Teams have had lip readers in the press box for many years now. Lip readers use binoculars to watch what coaches are saying, and they also watch monitors to see what's being said. A good lip reader with a headset can get valuable info down to the sideline almost as quickly as a coach can call a play. This is also why "check with me" calls have been instituted. That info gets to the coaches, and they adjust accordingly. Its also why many coaches cover their mouths when talking on their headsets. They're taking it to a new level since the skycams have shown up, being able to hover right directly over team huddles during time outs, etc. That's why the 'covers' have appeared to block out the sideline conversations that coaches are having with players.

Donovan Jackson, an OL from Texas verballed to OSU today. OSU now has verbals from 6 top 75 kids for 2021.

For the recruiting classes of 2018-20 and current 2021 class, M has signed or received verbals from 4 players in the top 75. 6 in the top 100.

Good on you, Liney. HARBAUGH!!!! actually has a chance to put together a really good 2021 class. If he can fight off Ohio State for a couple really good in-state kids and get 1 or 2 high 4* types from outside of the state, then it's going to be on par with 2017.
