But this is just so happy, it kinda made my day. Long day and physically sore as hell feelin all beat up (I must be getting as old as Jaadam), and this gave me the best laugh of the week.

We have 4 cats (my husband has a cat hoarding problem) and our dog, Loki. He isn't a huge fan of cats, so 3 of them pretty much leave him alone. But Little One just loves him, and every now and then we will catch the two of them snuggling with each other. As soon as Loki realizes that we are in the room, he tries to pretend it wasn't happening, but we know the truth!

A few years ago, my wife and kids took Boone to go see the fireworks on St Simons Island while I took care of my mother-in-law.
Fireworks? Dog? What could go wrong? They told me when the first big boom went off, he jumped up and tried to run off, but they had him on the leash and he settled down pretty quickly and then seemed to enjoy it.
My daughter wrote a song about it.
I know I've posted it here before, but here it is again. 😉
