I recently found myself back in Michigan a little longer than expected and I decided to take some classes while I'm here. One was a creative writing class taught by a man named Jas Obrecht I had never heard of him. It turns out that he was an editor for many years at Guitar Player Magazine and he had a lot of good stories to tell. One of them was about how he was the first person to interview Eddie Van Halen.

Yesterday was the 35th anniversary of that day and he posted this link on FB. It's a pretty cool read.:
