The Dolphins signed defensive lineman Ziggy Hood on Tuesday and added two more players from the defensive side of the ball to the active roster on Wednesday.

Linebacker Mike HullDamon Harrison. He had six tackles in six overall appearances for Detroit.

What's funny is these national outlets didn't have any stock footage for him in a Lions uniform because he was mostly invisible while he was here
Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.

    • Cowboys considered firing Scott Linehan during bye

The Dallas Cowboys' offensive woes are no secret, and it appears the team was close to making a significant change to their coaching staff even before the season started, Austin Knoblauch of NFL.com reports.

Speaking on Good Morning Football Weekend, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport said Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett seriously considered firing offensive coordinator Scott Linehan before the start of the season. Instead, Garrett decided to "go all-in" with Linehan and embrace some of the changes to the receiving room he recommended, per Rapoport.

Garrett also mulled over the idea of firing Linehan during the bye week following the Cowboys' loss to the division rival Washington Redskins last month, Rapoport reported. In the end, the team opted to fire offensive line coach Paul Alexander.

Following Monday's loss to the Tennessee Titans, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said the team would not make any in-season coaching changes.

The 3-5 Cowboys will have to win the vast majority of their remaining slate of games in order to preserve their playoff aspirations. If the team fails to make the postseason for a second straight season, it could jeopardize Jason Garrett's nine-year run in Dallas.

While Garrett's job should be safe through the balance of the season, the team has potential replacements on their radar should they feel compelled to make a move.

"If they do end up replacing Jason Garrett at the end of this season, I'm told both [Cowboys executive vice president] Stephen and [owner] Jerry Jones have an affinity for [Oklahoma coach] Lincoln Riley," Rapoport reported. "So the Cleveland Browns, if they're interested in Baker Mayfield's old coach, may have some competition."

              • One was a 53 yarder, so I don't think it counts because he is a TE

                • Well the shine sure wore off of Teryl Austin quickly. He went from rising star, potential HC material, to fired as Bengals defensive coordinator.

No but I think his new QB is WAY better than his old one. He actually sees and throws him open with a more catchable pass (on most occasions).

Its taken only 10 games to prove that out. To argue that FACT would solely be contrarian.

Not sure if its seeing him, or throwing him more catchable passes, or what - but regardless of the specific reasons its damning commentary on Stafford's effectiveness.

                        • not bringing Ebron back for this year was a big misstep by Quinn, especially since he has not been adequately replaced. Was he expensive ... sure, but not outrageously expensive like say a franchised DE would cost. Had he kept him for this season (and they could certainly use him) and let him walk after the season, at least they would have gotten compensatory pick credit after he left.

Ebron is the same player now in Indy as he was in Detroit ... sadly, Lions fan's were never going to give him a fair shake. His numbers this year (other than the TD's) are remarkably similar to his numbers in 2016 and the 2nd half of 2017.

To bad the fans basically ran him out of town. And bad on Ebron for allowing the fans to get inside his head.

                            • Boooh ulllll shit

He had 11 career receiving TD's in 4 full seasons playing with the Lions QB.

He has 9 in 10 games with a different QB.

Its remarkably sad how actual Lions fans simply can't tell it like it is.
