He does need to get competent counsel, specifically criminal attorneys. If it is true that his attorneys were taken by surprise by Flynn's plea bargain, that should never happen. Nor should his attorney be "editing" or creating tweets for the President to post. First rule of defense law is that the client shuts up. Trump knows he didn't do anything, but that is not enough. I live in a very small town. Probably 50 years ago, an elementary principal knocked up an 18-year-old. Not good. But the town took it in stride. Poor judgment by the guy, but he and she had 3 fine boys, he was elected elder in the church, and he was a top-flight educator. Sorry, but I can't get too excited about two of-age adults dating.

CGVT, you and I agree. This alone disqualifies him from being a Senator, or any elected official. A lower judge who doesn't follow Supreme Court precedent is unqualified to hold public office.
