  • I'd leave that to Mrs. Meyer ... and a few select OlieO co-eds ...

    • 18 scholarships are available before attrition for '13 recruiting class, so figure about 23 to give out with attrition...

      17-18 seniors graduate in '14...

      • M won't have a 'small' class for awhile. '11 was a small class and got even smaller after losing Chris Barnett & Kellen Jones.

        • Gareon Conley twittered that he will be committing tomorrow. He is visiting Tomorrow.

Btw, if anyone has twitter, he and David Dawson have a great exchange about Team 134.

          • Conley is a Wolverine... Ohio insiders claim he's awfully underrated.

            • M insiders gaining confident that Ben Gedeon is committing sooner rather than later...

Ty Isaac looking more like a M vs USC battle. They don't expect him to get through April without a decision, he visits USC later this month.

Who? I mean, Scout has him as a 4*, which, frankly, couldn't possibly be underrated. In a million years.

                • What does his offer list look like. Man, 6 1' 165 lb. Turn him sideways and you'll never see him

                  • well obviously he's going to redshirt. No help for M till '14.

                    • He's only a junior right now, still growing---lets see if he puts on another 10-15 lbs of muscle by the time he gets to Ann Arbor. 247 Sports lists him as a 3*, but others are saying he likely will soon be a 4*

Michigan and NW, with some interest from Toledo, but no offer.

                          • Meh. Sounds like a RichRod type recruit.

                            • Ty Isaac is probably going to commit before his senior year.

Possibly, but there aren't a lot of quality options at CB in the midwest this year, and if a Michigan staff thinks a Massillon kid can play, they're going to recruit him. If Conley is getting a benefit of the doubt from the recruiting services, the program he plays for is probably a big reason why.

Of the 39 defensive back prospects currently rated four stars or better by Rivals, only seven of them are from the midwest, and six of those have already committed-- Jourdan Lewis and Dymonte Thomas to Michigan, Cameron Burrows and Eli Woodard to the forces of darkness, Marcus McWilson to Nebraska, and Jayme Thompson to West Virginia.
