C'mon Mike; cut it to 10!

Michigan State unlikely to make bowl game. They have 4 losses already, and losses to Michigan and Ohio are likely.

So 6-6 won't get them in?

I think 6-6 only gets you in if all the teams 6-5 or better are taken.

6-6 gets you a bowl game in today's CFB with ~35 bowl games.

Who plays 11 games? If they get to 6-6, they'll go cause they travel.

6-6 in B1G/P5 is pretty much a lock.

6-6 is a best case scenario. This team has lost 4 in a row, and will likely lose 2 more games and end up 4-8.

                    • @ Maryland and @ Penn a state are going to be rough for them. If they already have 7 losses by the Penn State game that could get ugly.

I wouldn't bet on that, in spite of a couple of good throws by Tyler O'Connor today. Michigan seems to be overall the far superior team.

                        • There's a 50/50 chance MSU doesn't score a point. I don't know how they expect to move the ball against Michigan, who probably has the most devastating defense in the country.

FTR, by painful I mean closer than it should be.

                            • Maybe it will, but there is zero reason to believe that. Michigan is stronger than it's been in over a decade and MSU is RichRod-level dumpster fire.
