---------------------I'm eligible for full retirement(25 years service/50 years age) and I couldn't take the chance on losing benefits one of which is how our pensions are calculated. Odds are extremely high I will lose $40,000.00/year if I stay past the end of our current contract which ends June 30th.

In fact the same day you retire is the last day of the contract on the account I work on. But I 'm pretty sure we are getting extended for a year. They are hiring, but the local resources are in Orlando.
