This hospital stay is planned. This is his 2nd round of chemo and the doctor wants him to do another 3 rounds after this. 1 week in hospital for all 9 doses of wicked chemo, then about 1 week at home, or until his numbers drop again, then back in hospital for about 2-3 weeks or until his numbers come back up. Then will be home again for about 1 month to regain strength, then do it all over again. If he does it like this he might not need the transplant, but the prognosis is still low. With transplant the prognosis is higher but to get exact %, would have to talk to the other specialist. Side effects and adverse reactions can even happen years down the line.
He won the 1st battle and now he is working on winning this battle.My window of opportunity is expanding.....
