The Pistons SUCK!!!! They are going to SUCK until they find a superstar. I don't really care they aren't making the playoffs. They weren't going anywhere anyway. They need to draft a superstar and build from there.

agreed but we aren't going to get a superstar with the 8-9 or 10th picks. Until we completely tank its ridiculous to not make the playoffs. SVG has built a mediocre team from less than nothing but we're stuck here.

They will remain in Purgatory until they tank and get lucky by landing a superstar. It's the ONLY way out, no exceptions anymore.

chemi is right with the draft. The Wings used to snipe Euro talent because we weren't afraid to scout deep into Europe and Russia to find those mid to late round picks that could turn into stars. Now everyone is doing it and the draft in the mid to later rounds is a crapshoot.

Edmonton stacked top picks for many years and have some other decent young players to go along with McDavid but he might be the exception to that. He's not just a "superstar" but he's a once in a generation type.
