AA- Charlie Kirk is the head of Turning Point USA. A sort of College Republicans on steroids. It’s supposed to sway college students into believing conservatism is hip and cool and all that jazz. In reality Kirk almost exclusively pimps Trump and has himself gotten rich off his venture. The candidates TPUSA endorses have an almost perfect track record of losing and increasingly people are questioning where all the money’s going.

Talent has a habit of dismissing anyone who is embarassing to the GOP as “irrelevant” but Kirk certainly is not. He definitely holds more sway than the circle jerk over at the National Review.

The problem with the border isn’t the laws as they exist now, it’s that currently the feds refuse to enforce many/most of them and threaten state entities who attempt to. A new set of laws to be ignored aren’t really something to get excited about. It will take a paradigm shift in border philosophy to effect change.
