Ohio State's defense surprises some people just because they were so erratic last year (Fuck YOU, Schiano). But, they have some players on that side of the ball. Young, Okudah and Shaun Wade should all be first round picks. I really felt that mere coaching competence would lead to huge gains.

The thing I'm most surprised about is their OL play. That is position group is a complete re-work. I didn't think the running game would be so easy. We'll learn a lot more about that group this week.

BTW, Ohio State is making everyone they play "look bad" -- even the Mighty Fickells.

Disappointing beatdown for Nebraska. I viewed Scott Frost as Nebraska's Harbaugh, and that may be true in more ways than one. I'm not seeing signs of progress out of Martinez and the defense sucks.

Well one big difference between HARBAUGH!!! and FROSTY!!! is...the cupboard was fucking bare...I mean BARE!!! in Lincoln when he arrived...and has only had one full recruiting class so far...I think it's still early on FROSTY!!! whilst HARBAUGH!!! had a lot of talent there...and several very good recruiting classes so far...yet not much to show for it. FROSTY!!! may well be a bust...but jury still out. HARBAUGH!!! has had time.
