Very, very bad news for MSU ..... Federal Report states MSU did not provide adequate campus safety measures for students on campus and mis-handled reports of sexual assault in the Nassar case among others. The report mentions "lack of Institutional Control."

This is going to be DOE/Title IX stuff. Not sure how the NCAA will act, if at all. If they had wanted to act, they would have already done so. My guess is that they will stay clear and let the Feds deal with it. However, the Nassar stuff is just as bad, IMO, as what PSU did regarding Jo Pa and Sandusky. The NCAA sanctioned PSU. They should sanction MSU - in what manner is debatable but the Lack of Institutional Control thing is definitely in their wheel house.

It is a shit show, the problem with MSU is it is too close to Lansing and it is forever tied up in this sort of nonsense. Good for Snyder not to appoint an Engler ally. It needs a clean sweep but that is hard to do.

What a shit-show. Engler zeroed out Perles' $200,000 debt to gain his seat on the board. Thought supporters could persuade Rick Snyder to appoint a political ally:

What kind of a cretin says that victims of a child molester are digging the attention? What sick fantasies is he projecting to have the idea that the victims are enjoying it. Yes its fun to publicly relive your sexual assault repeatedly. Tom Izzo still pondering if they got the right guy in the first place?

Michigan's attorney general looks to interview Engler about MSU

MSU Trustee Joel Ferguson on Thursday denied allegations that MSU stonewalled the investigation. Ferguson said the university has withheld just 29 documents, which are being reviewed by a judge. Rossman McKinney said the university initially withheld or redacted 7,651 documents.
Nassar had sexually assaulted young women for decades, Tom Izzo who hid rapists is pondering if they got the right guy in the first place?

I'm glad that we don't have to face him again at full strength. He gave us all kinds of trouble in 2016.

LJ Scott is going pro, its probably for the best, so it means he's playing in the bowl game. It would have been nice to have an extra back around but it seems like it would have muddied the situation. It didn't make sense for him to stay, his draft stock probably wasn't going to get better.
