It's gonna get worse before it gets better for Sparty. If they miss on their HC hire, it's off to the wilderness in the new Big Ten. Luckily for them they don't get hammered right away with the big boys of the conference starting in 2024 but they would continue to struggle against the existing format going forward as well. It's not a stretch to rank them outside the top 10 programs in the conference heading into next year.
