Seriously? RichRod tried to adapt a style of play that simply can't hold up over the course of a full Big 10 season. Trying to get smaller, quicker players who are going to get beat to hell in the physical Big 10.

To me, this was Hoke's make or break season, his 3rd draft class and his first with Juniors - albeit true Juniors who played as Freshman. It's not looking pretty, even with top coordinators.

Hiring Rich Rod was the absolute worst hire they could dream up, to completely tear down a style of play that is pretty much necessary in the Big 10. It's not like this was Eastern Michigan and he was trying to put them into national prominence with table scraps.....

John Harbaugh, Tyrone Wheatley, Kevin Sumlin.

John Harbaugh - seems to good to be true... but if the Ravens miss the playoffs & with all of the Ray Rice stuff... maybe John loves Michigan enough to leave the NFL.

Tyrone Wheatley - a Michigan guy that is moving up the coaching ranks. I'm not sure what he would bring, but he did go to U of M.

B1G Defensive players tend to be bigger faster more "pro ready" than say,Mac or Sun Belt or wherever the fuck Dick Rod came from....you need a pro style offense to counter.

B!G is down right now...no question...but it wasn't that long ago that the powerhouses (OSU Penn St MSU M Wisc.) were headlining the big bowl games...Before the hiring of Rich Rod, Michigan and Ohio State were battling it out as the #1 & #2 schools in the country.
