Nah, got the point. It was a pathetic attempt to say look what this "conservative" said. He carries more weight because hes a "conservative"... except it does just the opposite. Next time quote a conservative that really isnt a "Another out-of-touch east coast elite conservative with no idea about how the heartland really thinks" as hack put it.

Correct. Didn't he hear Pelosi? What she said? Even she thinks Moore deserves due process.

Oh, and on that, did you see the tape of a much younger Pelosi defending Bill Clinton back in the 90's, all of a sudden you are just now done with Pelosi over defending this type of behavior?

      • A lot of conservatives in the good ol heartland are okay with pedophiles, so long as you're a Bible-reading one.

Other folks want to elect a pedophile because 'it'll make the libs lose their minds lulz'

Alleged. Again, Your party's leadership's stance on this is he deserves due process. Unless she was only talking about life long democrats, and anyone on the right is automatically guilty of every allegation. I would say if that's the left's vision for America no wonder the dems are where they are, and they should never hold power again.

Pelosi said that Moore deserves due process. Allegations are not proof of guilt, per the dementia patient from California.

Absolutely true. But their staff should be paid a modest amount. Non-profits should not become a vehicle through which officers or staff make big bucks.

                  • Boys, the best show on television starts a new season on Wednesday. Vikings on the History Channel is just a really good program and is historically accurate. At 8:00 is a "catch up" hour and at 9:00 is a two-hour episode.

                    I recommend it.

                    • Vikings is a worthy watch, but it would be hard to start now without binge-ing the previous 4 seasons. Definitely good stuff.

Only a week before Amazon Prime's Man In The High Castle's 3rd season begins!

What is it with the resurgence of soap operas? MITHC, Vikings, Game of Thrones - all very popular and several cuts above the rest of TV fare. Interesting that our nation of 'short attention span theater' is locking on to continuing dramas.

                        • The Pochahontas line was disrespectful to the Navajos. Don't ruin a chance to honor someone and instead lob political one-up-manship "zingers". It just wasn't the time or place. I mean he spoiled the recognition and honoring of the very cool Code Talkers. There are plenty of times he could zing Warren.

I can just imgaine him at the first funeral for a head of state saying, "Hey, you know what else is dead? Hillary's career! Amirite? Haha."

                          • Yeah, relatives of the Code Talkers are speaking out.

Michael Smith, a Marine whose father was a Code Talker, said most of the Code Talkers would be skeptical about going to the White House because it could be construed to mean they support a political cause.

"So, why did they go? Why were they there? He's putting them in the Oval Office to say 'You did a good job, and say hi to Pocahontas?'" Smith said. "They should be taken care of as heroes, not as pawns."

Michael Nez, whose father helped develop the code based on the Navajo language, said his father would have been upset to hear Trump's Pocahontas comment. But, as other Code Talker relatives said, his father was taught to respect the president as the commander in chief.

"It's too bad he does put his foot in his mouth," Nez said. "Why he does it? I don't know."
