I respect the legacy Woody left at osu and the good he did there far surpasses any bad ...... by a lot. Rooting interests for Neb v. osu? As much as we'd like to see 2 10-1 teams meet in The Game for the East league title, if Neb manages to beat osu (not particularly likely per probabilities) and M wins v. PSU (likely), the probability of M winning the East and advancing to face the West Champ in Indy becomes a near certainty. So, go Huskerz.
The West is a mess. Right now NfW owns the top spot but Iowa still has a decent probability of snagging the West championship if it wins out. Many don't want M to play Iowa. I do. One more stop on the revenge tour. Iowa would remain the only BIG team to not have a previous M loss avenged assuming M beats PSU today.
If M advances to and wins in Indy, they could face ND in a rematch - that would be sweet revenge if M could scrape out a win. I'm not sure what the scenarios are that would allow M to face ND in the CFP but if they win a rematch there and face Alabama, how great would that be for the players on team 139 who never lost focus on their goals after the opening loss to ND. A lesser group might have folded.
