It was depressing to think this is most likely going to be the same offense next year but with a different coordinator...Does anyone really think it will matter if Stafford throws the ball downfield more? It most likely just means more interceptions and incompletions.

Patrica wants a balanced, deliberate offense that eats up clock. He's made no deception about this.

The problem is that the way the Lions are calling their offense it has to be executed perfectly, because it doesn't seem like they have ANYTHING in their playbook if there's a dropped pass... or a penalty... or a tackle for a loss... basically if anything goes wrong, this offense fucks itself.

In other words, the offensive system is ass, and if Patricia insists on it, he needs to be fired.

That's what you get with a defense coach. Just like Caldwell(even though he was originally an offense coach). TOP is what wets their panties. Not wide open offenses that get guys in space like what's going on in most of the NFL today.

They try the ball downfield quite often yesterday, nothing came close to a receiver.
