Jerry Falwell insisted that classes resume on-campus at Liberty University and only a week later the predictable has happened: a dozen students are sick with COVID-19 like symptoms and the Health Director for the school has informed Falwell that the spread is now beyond their control. The local government of Lynchburg is furious with Falwell.
Does Liberty not have a Board of Trustees or Regents or whomever that can force Falwell out? Are they THAT in thrall to him?

Yeah, not doubling every two days now. From the John Hopkins chart it looks like about every 2.4 days now. Not much change in the death rate though right with a doubling every 3 days, That is concerning though. That would seem to indicate those that are getting this are getting to be more severe cases than one would think. It would also jive with the fact those getting the tests seem to be an effect of the triage medical practices going on.Originally posted by iam416 View Post
Giving Trump some credit here, he did say today that he was extending the CDC recommendations on social distancing (might be more than that) through April.
