  • Roger Stone takes the Fifth. I wonder if he's the criminal investigation target mentioned in the Flynn addendum.

    • The climate-change situation is really getting interesting now. Maersk is the latest company to announce a zero-emissions future, though by 2050 and not sooner. Shell's CEO backtracked and agreed to set reduction targets based on investor pressure. Mark Carney was told climate change is beyond his brief in '15, but not anymore. Central banks are beginning to worry out loud. The French, meanwhile, have put their foot down on gas taxes. Carbon tax is going to be the key issue in the '19 Cdn election. Voters are more than happen to give politicians mandates at the polls to tax carbon, but then take that mandate away later when the reality hits. This leaves business -- and in some cases even finance -- as possibly the most clear-eyed actor.

The words of President Deals are so wise on this topic. You don't take the Fifth unless you've committed crimes. Well stated, Mr. President.

based on misremembering something? let's not forget the FBI didn't think he intentionally lied, then Peter Strzok decided he did.

          • and the funny thing about the memo, says Flynn was helpful in regard to the transition's communication with Russia, not the campaign. thing is it was not illegal for Flynn or anyone else from the transition to talk with the Russians, or any other government for that matter

            no collusion.

              • yeah really nice that Flynn with 37 years of military service and 5 years of combat deployments gets his life ruined by Mueller for doing his job as part of the transition team

any difference of opinions between all the witnesses Mueller team interviewed can be the grounds for a charge of lying

doesn't matter which side your on the Mueller investigation has become the blueprint for destroying peoples lives all for the sake of what?

does Mueller really have the goods on trump colluding with Russians. nope. Flynn is guilty of doing what damn near every transition team has done since the logan act came to being in 1798. . its ridiculous to think incoming administrations have to wait until inauguration day before they can take a telephone call. then to harass bankrupt intimidate an American leader with 37 years of service to his country for doing the exact things that have been done from every incoming administration is pathetic.

stupid thing is Flynn was unlikely to serve any jail time. didn't stop Mueller from threatening and harassing and trapping Flynn and even veiled threats against Flynn sons. same as hes going to do with trumps kids no doubt

What about his lies covering up that he was being paid by the Turkish government to lobby on their behalf? That just another normal part of a 'transition'?

                      • It is worth repeating and has been from November 2016. If all of this stuff was legit, there would be no need to lie, yet all of these people continuously lie. And they haven't been lies where they are shading the truth that Bill Clinton was famous for. Most of this was bald-faced lies.

All of this whining about the investigation tries to skip past a serious crime of hacking the DNC and John Podesta in particular. The Russians did it and if Mueller can connect the dots that the Trump campaign coordinated with WikiLeaks to release illegally hacked emails, people need to pay with charges. Its that simple.

                        • Flynn's actions were treasonous and he should be in jail. Did he commit the actual act of treason? In reality, yes. He did. We know it and have known it for most of the past two years. In the semantic fantasyland that is the US justice system? We'll see.

it was legit. Here, I will play it again for you.

This was the 0bama Administration's official position RE: Trump Transition contacting ANY foreign government official. They even offered to assist them if they wanted.

Meanwhile they were in the back room unmasking names and leaking them to the press.

If you read Muller's Flynn memo, he offered content and context of the TRANSITION'S contacts with the Russian Government. Not the Campaign, transition team.

                              • he was paid 1/2 million in 2016 to look into a mullah in pennsylvania that was thought to be part of the coup in turkey

he was hired before trump was even president

the contract was termninated as soon as trump was elected

37 years of military service 5 years deployed and you label him treasonous?

his salary during that 37 yearswas less then 120K btw. LTG get 10K a month

gets a 500,000 contract which terminates the day trump is elected and you want to accuse him of treason. How bout just accusing him of not knowing the burecracy and the proper way to register as a foreign agent. treason my ass.
no wonder nobody worth a damn wants to get involved with running this country--your under investigation for bullshit, cornered into supporting the investigators agenda and ruined monetarily for life then be labeled as a traitor
                                shameful shit there
